A peaceful place to say farewell
Harkness Memorial Park will be more than a final resting place. It will be a welcoming and inclusive park - a place to gather, reflect, and celebrate life.
A new kind of cemetery
Harkness Memorial Park will be a place where remembrance, community and nature come together, seamlessly blending native gardens and community spaces with wide open landscapes that stretch out towards the nearby ranges. Designed to celebrate the natural landscape, and connect people with nature and one another, there will be opportunities for walking, recreation and quiet reflection.
A place to belong
Our community has been with us from the start, helping shape the memorial park and ensuring it will be a place where everyone feels a sense of belonging. As our community grows, so will the park – offering a unique community hub where people of diverse cultures can come together in a respectful and peaceful environment for generations to come. Harkness will have a range of burial and cremation memorialisation options available.
Cared for and managed by The Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (GMCT), a not-for-profit Trust, Harkness Memorial Park is a beautiful place to farewell those you love, reflect in nature and celebrate life.
