Harkness Drop-in Information Session

The Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (GMCT) invites you to learn more about the First Stage offerings and experiences at Harkness Memorial Park, a new cemetery being developed in Melbourne's west.

This drop-in session is a great opportunity to ask questions and hear directly from the team about what to expect when the site opens in 2027. 

When: 17 October 2026, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Where: Function Room at Altona Memorial Park, Dohertys Road, Altona North VIC, Australia

In this session, we will share: 

  • Detailed views of the Memorial Park’s interment area layout 

  • Estimated timelines for pre-sales, including our approach to planning ahead, immediate arrangements and purchasing multiple spaces 

  • Indicative pricing of final resting places offered in the First Stage 

  • Our staged development approach, which will allow the Memorial Park to grow with the community and respond to changing needs 

  • Ways to engage with GMCT once the Memorial Park is open
